How to Copy Clubhouse Bio and Links
When I started out on the Clubhouse app, I found many interesting profiles. Some of them so well-written content in their bio (the details under profile) that I was compelled to copy, sorry, I mean to take inspiration from and tweak it to make it my own. But I realized clubhouse won't allow users to copy anything from other people's bio area. Even the links were not clickable unless they were Twitter or Instagram links that users added by connecting their social profiles.
Don't worry, I did find two very good solutions that will help you in copying bio details and links from any clubhouse profiles:
Method 1: Use a Clubhouse Database website
- Go to clubhousedb.com (it's a free clubhouse database site) and search for the user using their clubhouse username.
- The website will return information about the information including their full bio. You can copy text and links from there simply by selecting what you want to copy.
Pro: You can copy everything from the user's clubhouse bio, including links and emojis. This also works for bios that were generated using special fonts/ clubhouse bio generators.
Con: Sometimes the clubhousedb website fails to return profiles of newly registered users or users who have a very little following.
Method 2: Take a screenshot and use free OCR website
- Take a screenshot of the bio of the Clubhouse profile you want to copy text from.
- Go to ocr.space (it's a free OCR utility) and upload the screenshot and just press the "Start OCR" button.
- Scroll down a bit and you will see the results of OCR pretty much instantly. You can click inside the results box and copy whatever you want from the clubhouse bio details.
Pro: This method is very useful if the first method does not work.
Con: The OCR algorithm misses the emojis so you will have to add emojis manually. Secondly, sometimes this tool is unable to scan and convert special fonts so for that you will have to try the second OCR engine option that is present above the Start OCR button. You can then use any clubhouse bio generator to convert normal text to fancy text.
So, those are the two ways that will help you copy clubhouse bio and also the clubhouse bio links. I clicked all the screenshots on my computer but the same steps can be followed on any smartphone as well.
